What We Believe
THE BIBLE
2 TIMOTHY 3:16/2 PETER 1:20-21
We believe that the Bible, both the Old and New Testament, is the inspired Word of God.
THE GODHEAD
1 JOHN 5:7/MATTHEW 28:19
We believe in one God, three in one, distinct in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
SALVATION BY GRACE
EPHESIANS 2:8-9/JOHN 14:6
We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in Christ. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. No one can come to the Father except by Him (Jesus).
THE CHURCH – THE BODY OF CHRIST
EPHESIANS 1:22-23
The true church is the composition of all those who have been born again. Through the new birth, believers are united together as the Body of Christ. Jesus Christ is the Lord and Head of the Church.
PRAISING GOD
2 CHRONICLES 20:19/PSALMS 47:1/PSALMS 150:4
We believe in praising God with joy by standing, clapping, dancing, and shouting. Lifting our hands and making music through different musical instruments.
ETERNAL LIFE
MATTHEW 25:46/1 JOHN 5:11-13/ROMANS 6:23/REVelation 20:15
We believe Heaven and Hell are real places of eternal existence. A lifestyle of sin separates man eternally from God in Hell. Repentance and salvation through faith in Jesus Christ promised eternal life in Heaven. It is not God’s will for anyone to perish but to have everlasting life.
WATER BAPTISM
MARK 16:16
All who believe in Jesus Christ as their saviour and have been born again, are commanded to be immersed in water. It is a public declaration that they identify with the death of Christ and have been raised with Him in newness of life.
BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT
MATTHEW 3:11 / ACTS 2:4
We believe in the infilling and the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and the evidence and utterance of speaking in languages.
RESURRECTION FROM THE DEAD
JOHN 11:25 / 1 THESSALONIANS 4:13-17
The Second Coming of Jesus Christ. We believe in the literal (Rapture) coming of Christ with His glorious, resurrected body for His church.
FINAL JUDGEMENT
2 CORINTHIANS 5:10 / HEBREWS 9:27 / REVelation 20:11-15
We believe it is a divine appointment where everyone’s works will be exposed and judged before a Holy God. Those whose names are not found in the Book of Life will be cast into the Lake of Fire.
